The breakfast buffet offers a decent selection, though it could use a bit more variety. The coin laundry facilities on the ground floor come in handy after a long day of exploring.

The room temperature controls are dysfunctional. despite it being chilly outside, the room felt uncomfortably hot, making sleep a challenge. Check-in time is a late 3 pm, and the early 10 am check-out feels misguided with no free extensions available. The inability to check luggage or call a taxi adds to the frustration of the stay.

The Standard Single Room felt clean and functional. I loved the large TV that offered free VODs and the easy access to the metro right next to the hotel. The location made getting around a breeze. Coin laundry machines on the ground floor were super convenient. However, the room was quite compact. If you're traveling with two people and large suitcases, it may feel a bit cramped. The card key system was also frustrating. I could only meet friends on the first floor if we were on different levels.

The Standard Single Room was cozy and functional. It had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a shower. The staff were super polite. Easy access to Gion subway station and close to convenience stores. A plus was the good breakfast selection too.
